Icecreambow

I heard a song on the radio the other day that I hadn't heard since I was a child, called "Sing A Rainbow" and it made me think of how a rainbow is a wonderful analogy for making ice cream.

Here's what I mean .... the song's lyrics include the line:

"red and yellow and pink and green, orange and purple and blue, I can sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow, sing a rainbow too"

Red, yellow, pink, green, orange, purple and blue - you can make ice cream in all these colors:

red
cherry ice cream

yellow
banana ice cream

pink
strawberry ice cream

green
pistachio ice cream

orange
orange sorbet

purple
prune ice cream

blue
blueberry yoghurt ice cream

Next time someone remarks on seeing a beautiful rainbow, tell them it's an icecreambow too!
