Banana Fudge Gelato Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 pint (250ml) whole milk (or half milk and half cream)
2oz (50g) sugar
3 ripe bananas (medium to large size)
4oz (100g) soft fudge chopped into thin, small squares or slices
Method: Make a puree of the bananas either by mashing by hand with a fork or putting in
a blender. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the bananas with the milk (or milk
and cream) mixture and sugar. Stir together well. Transfer into an ice cream maker
and freeze according to the manufacturer's instructions. 5 minutes before the end of the freezing time, drop the fudge pieces into the
ice cream maker.
